Your visit, step by step
From first message to first pill.
Starting PrEP in Pattaya takes one visit. Here is what happens before you arrive, while you’re with us, and in the weeks after, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Before you come
- Send a message on LINE or WhatsApp with a day that suits you.
- Note the date of your last condomless sex; it guides which HIV test is used.
- Exposed in the last 72 hours? You need PEP first, not PrEP.
At the clinic
- A private chat with the doctor about your situation and plans.
- Start-up tests: HIV, kidney function and hepatitis B, plus an STI screen if you want one.
- Your plan: daily or 2-1-1, how to take it and when you’re protected.
After your visit
- Take it as planned and use condoms until your protection date.
- Message us if anything feels off in the first weeks.
- Come back every 3 months for an HIV test and a refill.
What to bring
A short checklist.
None of this is required to be seen, but each item helps the doctor plan the right schedule and supply for you.
Bring with you
- Passport or photo IDSo your records and prescription match your name.
- A list of your medicinesIncluding supplements, gym products and hormones such as oestradiol.
- Recent test resultsHIV, kidney or hepatitis B results from home, if you have them.
- Your PrEP packIf you already take PrEP, bring the box or a photo of the label.
- Your travel datesSo we can plan how much PrEP you take home.
